FAQ

Before you install.

Is LastSave free?

Yes. The whole app is free to download and use. Buy Me a Coffee is there if you want to chip in.

How is it different from a launcher or a tracking website?

Launchers start your games, and tracking sites ask you to log them by hand afterwards. LastSave does both on your PC and puts the journal inside the game: it records sessions, hours and status changes on its own, and you add notes and captures while you play.

How does it track my sessions?

Start a game you track, from LastSave or from its own launcher, and LastSave notices it running and times the session on its own. There is nothing to press.

Where does my library go?

Into a database file in your Windows profile, on your own PC. LastSave works offline, and the privacy policy lists everything it sends.

Which launchers and emulators does it support?

Steam, Epic Games and Xbox through their accounts, installed games and shortcuts found on your PC (GOG included), and 19 emulators from RetroArch and PCSX2 to shadPS4. Game details and covers come from IGDB.

Who is the floppy disk?

That’s Savvy. It keeps an eye on your saves. Try clicking it.
